Why choose a wood cutting board over plastic?

First and foremost a wood cutting board does not expose you to harmful microplastics and stored chemicals from dishwashers. Second, they are each individually a work of art.

Are wooden boards harder to maintain?

Not at all. When you are done using your wood board, simply wash it in warm soapy water and dry it off. Set it on the counter to air dry and it is ready for the next use. 

What is needed for long term care?

All of our boards come oiled and waxed ready for use. We sell wood conditioning wax to keep your board looking and performing at its best. Simply use a towel and apply the wax to your board, buff it in and after a few minutes wipe off the excess. Your board will be ready to go.
